As if Jessica Simpson wasn’t already a fashion mogul, she is adding another notch on her belt. The new mommy officially announced that the already super successful Jessica Simpson Collection is branching out a maternity line. That’s right, this Fall Simpson will debut a full line of maternity apparel, together with Destination Maternity.

Simpson gushed about the new venture with Destination Maternity saying, “I’m so excited to partner with Destination Maternity to design a collection of fashionable styles that make you look and feel great!” “You want to wear clothes that are flattering to your baby bump; you want to show your bump off.,” she then added.

A big congratulations goes out to new parents, Jessica Simpson and fiancee, Eric Johnson. The duo welcomed their baby girl this morning weighing in at 9 lbs. 13 oz. and measuring 21¾ inches long.

Simpson released this statement, “Eric and I are elated to announce the birth of our baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson.  We are grateful for all the love, support and prayers we have received. This has been the greatest experience of our lives!!”

But ‘Maxwell Drew Johnson?’ Isn’t that a boy’s name? Despite the more masculine name, we assure you she did have a baby girl.
